Faith and family are my foundation for everything I do.
I have built a 20-year career as an audit and finance professional by analyzing and building financial processes and systems that prevent errors while reducing the opportunity for fraud. During my professional career I have worked with both large corporations and complex government entities. I have the experience and skills the Davis County Treasurers Office desperately needs, including:
• The ability to design and implement a holistic internal control environment that governs every key process touched by Treasurer’s Office
• The ability to write policy and procedure that clearly defines roles and responsibilities while eliminating the role of superuser’s who have the ability to override controls
• The ability to reconcile and account for all funds received from taxpayers and other entities. This reconciliation will account for all daily transactions while producing a complete and accurate record at month end
