BIO

I am running to represent you in Utah House District 19 because I genuinely believe that the essence of our state and nation is facing significant challenges. With extensive experience in the legislative process as a dedicated citizen advocate and the President of the United Women’s Forum, I have actively lobbied both for and against bills. Witnessing the prevalence of subpar legislation and the gradual erosion of our freedoms has motivated me to step forward. I am committed to ensuring that our community and state receive the care they deserve, free from the undue influence of federal overreach, outside legislative and lobbying forces. My passion is to champion the rights of our children, the well-being of our families, the prosperity of our local community and the people of Utah. I firmly believe a positive change of our Utah government is achievable and I am dedicated to making that change.

Please describe in detail your decision-making process and your ability to negotiate with others to put forward your ideas and approaches. 75 words or less

A. As a leader in my community, a business owner, and a mother, I constantly advocate for various positions. Regardless of the role, I prioritize listening and understanding different perspectives, gathering relevant data, and weighing the trade-offs. I communicate my vision and values while striving to build consensus and coalitions. Crucially, all decisions must be grounded in correct principles. Without this foundation, success is unlikely for any leader.
