Notice of Davis County Controller Vacancy

(Previously Auditor)

Notification Date: June 23, 2025

On June 19th, the Davis County Republican Party was notified that Davis County Controller Curtis Koch will step down effective July 15, 2025.

In accordance with Utah State Law and the Davis County Republican Party Constitution and Bylaws, a special county convention of county delegates will be held to elect a replacement Controller.

Candidate Filing Information

Deadline: All interested candidates must file with the Davis County Republican Party (DCRP) by June 30, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

Please complete and submit the filing document.

  • July 15, 2025
  • Meet the Candidates 5-7 PM
  • Credentialing 5-7 PM
  • Call to order 7 PM

  • United States citizen
  • Davis County resident
  • Registered Republican voter in Davis County
  • Term of Occupancy: July 16, 2025, through January 4, 2027 (elected at convention by county delegates)
