Curtis Koch was elected to the position of Davis County Clerk/Auditor in 2014 and took office in January of 2015. Curtis began working for Davis County in 2002. Prior to his election, he held the positions of Assistant Director, Director of Procurement & Contracts and Chief Deputy.
Curtis began working in the Clerk/Auditor’s office in 2010 and was appointed Chief Deputy of Audit & Finance in 2012. Serving in this capacity gave him experience in all of the major functions and responsibilities of the Clerk/Auditor’s office including budget, finance, audit, records management, purchasing and elections.
In 2001, Curtis graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In 2008, he completed a Masters of Business Administration from Weber State University. He has continued to dedicate himself to furthering his education by earning his Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) certification from the Association of Governmental Accountants, as well as becoming a graduate of the Advanced Government Finance Institute from the Government Finance Officers Association/University of Wisconsin.
Curtis and his family reside in Layton. In their spare time they enjoy skiing, running, biking and hiking.
