I am a lifelong Davis County resident, raised in Centerville and a Viewmont High School graduate. My wife and I have lived in Layton for 26 years, raising our four children. Davis County is home, and it’s where my commitment to public safety began.

I have spent my career in public safety, including 16 years with the Davis County Sheriff’s Office. I later served as Deputy Chief of the Roy City Police Department and then as Chief Deputy with the Weber County Sheriff’s Office, overseeing Corrections, Enforcement, and Administration.

I have a master’s degree in public administration from Brigham Young University and I am a graduate of the FBI National Academy. In 2021, I received recognition as the Utah Jail Commander of the Year from the Utah Sheriffs Association for work we accomplished during the pandemic.

I am running for Davis County Sheriff to bring my experience home and provide steady, principled leadership focused on service, safety, and community trust.
