Austin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), equipping him with the financial and organizational expertise necessary to manage taxpayer dollars responsibly and ensure county resources are utilized efficiently. He firmly believes that taxes should only be raised after thoroughly reviewing the budget and trimming unnecessary or wasteful spending, because families deserve the same discipline from government that they practice at home. Austin has been involved in the Davis County GOP as a precinct chair, legislative district vice-chair, state delegate, and currently serves on the credentialing team. Austin wants Davis County to remain a place for future generations to live, work and raise a family.
Susan has also been deeply involved in the Republican Party, serving six years as a GOP Precinct Chair and three years as President of the Davis County.
